Dr. Mohadese Adabimohazab is an adult psychiatrist, and an Assistant Professor of Clinical psychiatry at Weill Cornell Medicine. Dr. Adabimohazab completed her psychiatry residency training at SUNY Downstate Medical Center, and received her medical degree from Tehran University of Medical Sciences. She is a teaching and supervising attending at Lincoln Medical Center.
Dr. Adabimohazab has an extensive background in psychodynamic psychotherapy and psychoanalytically informed psychotherapy. She completed psychodynamic psychotherapy training, and is currently a senior psychoanalytic candidate at Psychoanalytic Association of New York (PANY). She is also a member of American Psychoanalytic Association (APsA).
Dr. Adabimohazab treats individuals with diverse cultural backgrounds. She is particularly passionate to work with women and other individuals who have experienced discrimination, persecution, and other forms of trauma.
